About the 13th VFS
The “Panther Pack” has a long and distinguished lineage as Wild Weasels. Our primary mission is SEAD/DEAD. The Wing relies on our expertise in eliminating the surface to air threat. It is one of the most dangerous missions but with proper training and proficiency, the hazards can be mitigated.
Secondary missions include force protection, ground attack, interdiction strike, and CAP. Our Vipers are uniquely equipped for these critical tasks. We maintain a high level of proficiency to support the Wing’s mission tasking, anytime, anyplace.
