Flight simulators for the aviation enthusiasts have evolved significantly over the past few decades. Combat flight simulation has evolved just as much. Simulations like IL2, Jane’s series flight simulations, Microprose flight simulations like B-17 Flight Fortress the Mighty 8th!, Microsoft flight simulations like Flight Simulator and Combat Flight Simulator and many more inspired people to become real pilots and have filled the void for those who can not become pilots in the military or civilian arena. As computers and networks evolved so did the “need” to want to have co-op and force on force flights in multiplayer. All of this made the immersion factor more and more intense; throw VR in the mix and it just keeps getting better.
The 1st VSC is here to continue that tradion of the passion and love of combat flight simulation. We offer the most current combat simulations on the market and throughout the community. Eagle Dynamics DCS world is our newest flight simulator that has become very popular in the combat flight simulator community. We also have Benchmark Sims Falcon BMS. Falcon BMS has been around since 1998 and has evolved into one of the best F-16 simulators flying in a wartime scenerio.
Below you will see both platforms that we offer in the 1st VSC. Each platform has wings and squadrons which are setup to suit the individual pilot.
We have two wings flying DCS. Virtual Carrier Group – 3 primarily flies the FA-18C Hornet the F-14 Tomcat and the AV-8B Harrier. The 1st Joint Virtual Fighter Wing primarily flies the F-16C Viper the F-15E Strike Eagle and the A-10 Warthog.
