About DCS World
Digital Combat Simulator offers a wide range of modules to choose from. We have decided to primarily focus on the FA-18C Hornet, the F-16C Viper, the F-14 Tomcat, the A-10II Warthog, the AV-8B Harrier, and the F-15E Strike Eagle. Most of our pilots fly more modules than listed to include helicopter and several WWII aircraft, however our training missions and combat missions will focus on those listed above. In order to organize our command structure efficiently we have separated our wings into the USN and the USAF. Our Naval missions will be flown using the Virtual Carrier Group – 3, which launches off the USS George Washington. Our Air Force missions will fall under the 1st Joint Virtual Fighter Wing. If you fly multiple modules whichever one is your primary, that will be your primary squadron. If you decide to fly with one of the other squadrons you will be added as “attached”. The goal is to become extremely proficient in a single module as our combat missions will be challenging and fun!
