The 1st JVFW is the primary DCS Air Force Wing. Our mission is to train and develop highly skilled combat pilots across multiple Air Force airframes. Whatever your primary aircraft is, we will teach you the basics all the way to advanced weapons in order to employ that airframe against any adversary and have fun doing it!

About the 1st JVFW

The 1st Joint Virtual Fighter Wing brings together pilots from three different squadrons working together to accomplish a mission. The 1st JVFW currently is home to three different airframes that are flown in DCS. The airframe are as follows: F-16C Viper flown by the 13th VFS, the A-10C flown by the 354th VFS, the F-15E flown by the 494th VFS. The 309th Virtual Training Squadron is our dedicated training squadron for all airframes and all USAF modules fly under this squadron during training sorties. We accept pilots with all skill levels and have a robust training plan to get you up to speed to survive in a combat environment.

From the Commander

This Wing is dedicated primarily to bring people together who share the same interest: flying USAF aircraft in a simulated combat environment and having fun doing it! Our goal is to make our aviators extremely proficient in their USAF airframe of choice and then employ that airframe in challenging but fun combat scenarios. If you want a place where you’re able to fly, learn, meet great people, make friends, and most importantly have fun, then we encourage you to fill out the recruiting form.
